Understanding how to use your adhesive is crucial to having it perform properly and offer the best retention to your clients.

DISPENSING

Always shake the adhesive well to ensure that all the contents are mixed well. A well-mixed adhesive will appear very black with no separation. We recommend using our Wireless Adhesive Mixer for the perfect mix.

HUMIDITY

Every adhesive will work in a different humidity range. It's important to know the humidity in your studio, so you know which adhesive to purchase to suit your environment, or know how to adjust your environment to suit your adhesive. To determine the humidity in your studio, you'll need a hygrometer.

The humidity in your environment can be adjusted by using a humidifier or dehumidifier. A humidifier will increase the water content in the air. A dehumidifier will decrease the water content in the air.

The adhesive will bond within the specified time if used within the recommended humidity range. If the adhesive is used below the recommended humidity, it will take longer to bond. If the adhesive is used above the recommended humidity, it will bond quicker than it's supposed to.

BOND

Each adhesive has a different bond time depending on the formulation. Ensure to select an adhesive that suits your bond time.

CLARITY

IONIK

Ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Hexanediol, Carbon Black.

KOVALENT

Ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Bha 7, Hexanediol, Carbon Black.

STORAGE

Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat and sunlight. May store in the refrigerator - do not store in the freezer.
